Barry J. Koffman

Founder and President, newwayHR

Barry Koffman is the founder and President of newwayHR, Inc. As a PEO (Professional Employer Organization), he provides the leadership in Sales and the delivery of HR and Risk Management Services. He has a passion for helping companies grow!

He was responsible for CNA’s PEO branch office in Utah. His office was in the top five out of 32 offices for three years running in sales and profitability. Barry has direct experience in the challenges and opportunities connected with business leadership, growth, operations and governance.

Barry brings with him a wealth of other successful skill-sets to this niche marketplace. As Vice President of a large fraternal insurance company in the U.S. and Canadian marketplace, he supervised 121 offices in both countries with 6 divisional managers, held over 100 training seminars and managed a sales force in excess of 1,300 producers.

Primed by his leadership roles in sales, client services and operations, Barry maintains a passion for engaging and developing people and companies. Under his leadership, Barry has successfully led teams to deliver accelerated revenue growth with above-plan performance while maintaining high levels of client retention and associate engagement.

Paul Hunt

VP of Operations, newwayHR

Paul began his career as a Client Services Manager, serving small to medium size businesses and clients. He has held roles of increasing responsibility in client relations, operational support and general management. With 20 years of accounting and finance, payroll management, and HR experience, Paul delivers a high level of expertise for businesses in managing the accounting, payroll, benefits, HR, business administration, and more.

Paul Hunt serves as Vice President of Operations. In his role, he leads a team focused on providing an integrated approach to payroll, tax, benefits, and Human Resources to help companies grow, work smarter and concentrate on their core business efforts. He is devoted and attentive to creating ways of enhancing and transforming experiences for their clients. Paul focuses on giving clients the best of service, providing expert help for small businesses in managing benefits, payroll, compliance, risk management, safety, recruiting, and more. He oversees and is responsible for the delivery of all HR services, payroll and management services.

In addition, Paul has held consulting and leadership positions with Midvale City as a member of the City Council for several terms, and four years on the Planning Commission, serving as the chair. He has served on several board of director positions with the Municipal Building Authority and the Redevelopment Agency, as well as several other boards and councils.
